Philanthropy and Community Involvement
Lyza is committed to giving back to the community and supporting important causes. She has donated a percentage of her work to the Ride to Conquer Cancer (2017,2018 and 2019 and supports Plastic Oceans by donating 10% of her painting sales to www.plasticoceans.org

Literary Achievements
​
In addition to her visual art, Lyza is also a published author and illustrator of three children's books (2021 & 2022). Her book , "I Wish Mom Was An Octopus", was selected for the North Shore Authors collection.
