Lyza Del Mar Gustin is a landscape painter with a contemporary twist.

 

Lyza is showing  her most recent works at BLAH Art Gallery in West Vancouver

until May 5th, 2022.  Lyza's works have been selected for the

North Vancouver Arts Council, 'You are here Calendar'. Lyza work has been exhibited

at the Silk Purse Gallery and the Hearth Gallery in 2021 & 2022.

 

 Lyza has been featured at Art Vancouver, Yeats Gallery in West Vancouver and at Simply Home Decorating, North Vancouver and Pizazz in Edgemont Village. Lyza donated a percentage of her work for the Ride to Conquer Cancer in 2019, 2018 and 2017. Lyza was one of the 2015 and 2016 Harmony Arts Festival Artists at Ambelside, West Vancouver. North Shore Living Magazine featured Lyza in their Artist review in 2017.  A  published author/ illustrator of 3 children's books in 2021 and 2022.

You will see Lyza continually exploring landscapes into abstraction with in her large multi paneled works. 

​

Lyza has lived, worked and studied art in Australia, Asia, the United States and Canada.

Her personal experiences include commercial diving on the Great Barrier Reef, advertising sales and marketing , health and wellness management with the Hyatt, Sheraton Mirage and Shangrila Hotel group.

​

Lyza was selected to create a Hostel Mural series in Cairns, North Queensland, Australia.

​

Born in Vancouver Canada and raised on the North Shore, Lyza works from her Studio in Deep Cove or painting on location at Cates Park and on her beloved boat. Lyza's passion is long distance Open Water Swimming in Deep Cove the Gulf Islands and Kona, Hawaii. Lyza supports fundraising for plastic oceans by donating 10% of her painting sales to https://plasticoceans.org
